But why actually a supermarket themed hotel? We have the proximity to the "food akademie" to thank for the unusual theme. It is the only federal college for the German food trade. This is where all future specialists and managers for the food trade are trained and further educated. So it made sense to open a supermarket-themed hotel next door.
The special concept accompanies you through the entire hotel. From the hotel lobby to our restaurant "bildungslücke" to the wellness area, our "food relaxing zone". The absolute highlight in the food hotel are the 46 elaborately designed supermarket themed rooms. Many different partners from the food industry have furnished the rooms creatively, comfortably, richly detailed and a little extravagant. They include Früh Kölsch, Rundschau, Raffaello, Fairtrade, Coca-Cola, Chio Chips and many more.

The Food Hotel is a modern business hotel, where almost exclusively business travelers are accommodated during the week. The location is very good due to the proximity to the center, and the train station is also in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished.
