The staff at the front desk and in the dining room were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. A slightly less bulky, firmer pillow would be good for the neck. The "accessible" room is spacious, and the large bathroom with the walk-in shower would be exemplary for people with disabilities overall if there were a raised toilet. Fortunately, with the help of the two side supports, one can still get up, albeit with some effort. The room’s location, almost directly across from the dining room, is ideal. However, for those using a walker or wheelchair, the steps there prevent them from getting down to the tempting breakfast buffet, so a considerable detour around the outside must be taken. The breakfast is unbeatable in terms of variety and preparation, but it leaves light breakfasters—who can manage at most two jam rolls in the morning—feeling a bit left out. A smaller (and thus more affordable) breakfast option would be desirable for them.
Conclusion: The hotel is highly recommended.

The Food Hotel is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Rhine, Moselle and Lahn. It is also centrally located for tours to Bonn and Cologne. In this respect, it is just as suitable for business travelers as for vacationers.

The Food Hotel is a modern business hotel, where almost exclusively business travelers are accommodated during the week. The location is very good due to the proximity to the center, and the train station is also in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished.
